Manager Customer Relationship Management & Sales / Mumbai, India
Brief description
As Manager Customer Relationship Management & Sales (m/f/d) to be based at our Branch Office Mumbai, India, you will be joining an established regional team of project logistics professional, with a primary focus in creating and closing new opportunities in both segments – general and projects for Mumbai and Pune/Western India. By using a consultative approach to selling, you will use your expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
- Reach out to potential clients through cold calls and identify and qualify potential sales leads
- Set up appointments to support field sales representatives/ Managers.
- Use pre-written matter, presentations to showcase our experience to possible customers, learning what their needs are and keeping the customer engaged.
- Demonstrate how our products can best address client needs.
- Upsell products if possible.
- Gathering and documenting customer information, payment methods, purchases, and reactions to products.
- Keep a detailed record/report of all calls and sales
- Follow up on calls as needed
- Maintain an updated customer database, including names, phone numbers, and addresses
- Direct calls to Managers/seniors as needed
- Listening to the customers’ needs to generate repeat sales.
- Successfully create business from new and existing customers and dormant accounts.Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers.
- Existing customer base and an established network of contacts.
- Ability to explore market trends and develop sales leads accordingly.
- Researching prospective accounts in target markets on a continual basis.
- Graduate in any field.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience Sales Co-ordination.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize appointments for Managers/Seniors.
- Must have excellent networking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable making cold calls to potential clients.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
- A goal-driven, results-oriented mindset.
- Working knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM etc.
- Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken. . Working knowledge of local languages.
- Creative thinking skills.
- The patience and ability to engage customers in conversation.
- Good sales ability.
- The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers.
- A person of high integrity and proven credentials in the market.
- Thorough and Detailed understanding of the Forwarding Business.
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota.
